Desert Ironwood (aka American Ironwood) is one of the most highly regarded timbers in traditional knife making, furniture making, and instrument building.

It's one of the hardest, and most gorgeous timbers in the world. It's strength and density are unmatched. Due to it's incredible hardiness, it was often used as ball bearings in antiqued steam powered ships.

We paired this timber with modern matte black tungsten carbide, for a modern, and minimalist aesthetic.

All timber is sealed in a vacuum with acrylic resin, to make the most durable, and water resistant rings possible. They are all finished in marine grade epoxy for utmost strength and durability.

Tungsten Carbide is made via a lost wax casting process in an industrial mold. It has no seams, and is ranked upwards of 9 on Moh's hardness scale. It's literally used (and how I use it) to cut titanium. It's incredibly hard and durable.
